Bridlemile Basketball Program 

Beagle Ball is a co-ed skills based development program to prepare young athletes for organized league play before 3rd grade; and an opportunity to have fun learning the game of basketball with friends, classmates and peers in the Ida B. Wells Cluster Community.

The registration fee is $100.00 per athlete.

Organized practice and play will consist of (6) sessions on Sundays at Wells High School, beginning *January, 4 2026, and ending February, 22 2026.

  • Clinic starts at 10am with open gym, followed by ball handling (dribbling and passing), parts of the game & technique, and small sided activities and play.

  • Clinic closes at 11:15am

  • January 4th - 1st session

  • January 11th - 2nd session

  • February 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd (sessions 3-6)

Supervised instruction in basic basketball fundamentals and informal scrimmages.

GRADES 3 - 5

Mixed gender teams of 8-12 students with a parent volunteer coach.  Teams practice once per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday), and play one game per week starting in January (Friday).  Each practice will be 1 to 1.5 hours. Each game will be approximately 1 hour.
